Position Summary:

The Design Workflow Coordinator develops creative ideas/concepts and designs a variety of products such as but not limited to logos, infographics, Invitations, brochures, and conceptual PowerPoint. The associate generates ideas and supports DTP operators in enhancing slides for the client and is the creative driving force behind the conceptualization of a project.

The Design Workflow Coordinator ensures quality standards and deadlines are met and a high level of customer service is provided.  The Design Workflow Coordinator also communicates directly with the clients to discuss project needs and what can be done on their slides/graphics. Duties & Responsibilities:

Communication (50%)

  • Takes briefs with clients to determine the scope of a project; offers on the spot design solutions and recommendations
  • Creates any material where the client would like to display a high level of design to capture their audience’s attention
  • Supports Desktop Publishing (DTP) operators in enhancing PPT slides and any other material

Production (40%)

  • Conceptualizes and pushes boundaries of artworks from the client briefs
  • Suggests message, style, or media that should be used based on the design brief
  • Ensures that all corporate brand guidelines are adhered to and client-expectation is achieved
  • Estimates the time required to complete the project
  • Creates innovative conceptual design solutions ready for presentation to the client
  • Provides sufficient orientation to other designers to undertake the work, where appropriate
  • Monitors progress of other designers and ensure timely delivery of output for projects that were split
  • Incorporates changes recommended by the clients into the final design
  • Reviews design for errors, inconsistencies, and other technical specifications before art director/client submission

Admin (10%)

  • Organizes and archives work files according to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Logs time spent for the project in the workflow tool
  • Complies with internal processes
  • Attends meetings and briefings with clients and teammates

Skills

  • PowerPoint is a plus but not required
  • Adobe programs including but not limited to:
  • Illustrator
  • Photoshop
  • InDesign
  • Previous Customer Service experience is a plus
